Flat Rate IQ is a tracking and productivity app for automotive technicians. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can delete your account data.

2. Information We Collect

Flat Rate IQ may collect and store account information, profile settings, pay-period settings, hourly rate settings, weekly goal settings, flagged hours, repair order tracking entries, review status, notes you choose to enter, and feedback submissions sent through the app.

3. Account Information

When you create an account or sign in, we may store information such as your email address and account identifier. Authentication is handled through Supabase.

4. Work Tracking Information

The app stores the information you enter so it can show your dashboard, hours history, repair order tracking, goals, pay-period progress, and review status. You control what information you enter into the app.

5. Feedback

If you submit feedback through Flat Rate IQ, we may store your feedback message, related app context, and account identifier so we can review bugs, improve the app, and respond to support issues.

6. How We Use Information

We use your information to operate Flat Rate IQ, provide app features, save your settings, display your tracked hours and repair order history, maintain account access, troubleshoot issues, improve app performance, respond to support requests, and protect the security of the service.

7. Data Storage

Flat Rate IQ uses Supabase to provide authentication, database storage, and related backend services. Data may be processed and stored by Supabase systems as needed to provide the app.

The app may also store a local cache on your device for recently loaded profile settings and logged hours so the app can load faster. This local cache is cleared when you sign out or delete your account from the app.

8. Data Sharing

Flat Rate IQ does not sell your personal data. We do not sell your tracked hours, repair order data, profile settings, or feedback submissions to advertisers. We may share information only as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or respond to your requests.

9. Sensitive Information

Do not enter sensitive personal information, customer information, financial information, medical information, confidential shop information, passwords, or private third-party information into Flat Rate IQ fields, notes, repair order entries, or feedback forms.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect app data. However, no online service, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Data Retention

We retain account and app data for as long as needed to provide Flat Rate IQ, maintain records, resolve issues, improve the app, comply with legal obligations, or until you request deletion where deletion is legally and technically available.

12. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account in the Profile screen. In-app deletion is permanent and deletes your account, profile, flagged hours, feedback, and saved app data associated with your account according to the app's current deletion flow. You can still contact support at support@flatrateiq.app if you need help accessing your account.

13. Children

Flat Rate IQ is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
